Directions
to HodgePodge Cottages
From Dallas
Take I-20 (same as 80) out of Dallas, following signs to
Terrell to get out of town. Drive 150 miles and take the first Marshall
exit (TX 43), turning left into Marshall. (It will also say exit to Caddo
Lake State Park). Follow directions below.
From Houston
Take US 59 to Marshall. Follow directions below.
From Shreveport
Take TX 134 from IH 20 toward Caddo Lake State Park and
continue about 20 miles until you dead end into TX 43, go north & pick
up directions at Farm Road 2198.
From Texarkana
Take US 59 to Atlanta, Texas, junction TX 43 (south). In Atlanta,
go toward Marshall and Caddo Lake State Park. Take FM 2198 toward Uncertain
and follow directions below.
TO UNCERTAIN
Drive through Marshall continuing north on TX 43 (to Karnack
& Caddo Lake State Park). Drive about 15 miles, (signs keep directing
you to Caddo Lake State Park). (If you cross over the Big Cypress River
you have gone too far). Your next turn will be to the right on FM 2198,
toward Caddo State Park and Uncertain. PASS the state park and bear left.
Go about 5 miles, take a left on Cypress Drive, at Dad’s Pizza Pad.
Pass Caddo Grocery and the Shady Glade complex and go another 2-3 blocks
and you will see HodgePodge Cottages signs on the left and right.

- 674 Cypress Drive is (#3 Snug Harbor)
- 674 Cypress Drive is (#4 Snug Harbor)
- 686 Cypress Drive is (#5 Modular)
- 724 Cypress Drive is Hodges Hide-a-way (where we live)
Continue past the cottages to the 2nd house on your right (lakeside) brown house with white top, 724 Cypress Drive (Hodges Hide-a-way). This is where you check in.
