This cottage
is truly the "hodgepodge" of all the cottages and the most
interesting, including much memorabilia that belonged to the
two sisters that occupied it before their deaths. Rumor has
it that the original owner, who was a merchant seaman radio
operator, was involved in covert operations with the CIA and
used this house as a safe house for FBI agents following W.W.II
and the Korean Conflict, (hence the name Snug Harbor).
This spacious cottage has many windows facing a beautiful
view of Caddo Lake. The large living room and den area are
furnished with 2 queen sofabeds, 2 love seats, 2 recliners,
card table w/chairs, TV, VCR, occasional chairs and tables.
A deck with comfortable chairs overlooks the lake and fishing
pier.
The
two queen bedrooms share a hall bath. Linens and towels provided.
The
kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, silverware,
toaster, range with two ovens, coffeemaker, microwave, blender
and refrigerator. A rock maple dining table with six chairs
in separate dining area.
Double
Carport and Charcoal BBQ grill.
#3 and #4 can be
used as one unit.
